Friday night, while on a road trip to Greensboro, NC, for a wedding, I passed through Charlottesville, VA. Hungry for a light, quick, tasty dinner, I called up a college friend who grew up in the area. Julia's recommendation: Christian's Pizza! My sister and I waltzed in to find everything she professed to be true: quick, cheap and amazingly delicious. We tried the following slices:

Spinach, artichoke, feta, mushroom with Pesto sauce
Caprese salad pizze (tomato, mozzarella, basil & cheese)
Mushroom & Cheese

They were fresh & hot, plus we got to eat them while strolling around the "Downtown Mall", which was full of families with children, first dates, music acts and more. If that's not your scene, I hear a new location opened up near UVA's campus. Regardless, my thanks goes out to Charlottesville's own, Christian!
